| I would take as many pictures as possible to document the condition of the car. For example, he could beat the crap out of it, or semi-part it out, making it worth like $100....if you are entitled to 1/2, then it would be like $50. Now, if we're talking like $10,000 or whatever, I'd be sure to take pictures in case something "happens". I'm not an attorney, and I'd suggest you ask one to find out your rights.
